Festivals and Events in Benbrook
The City of Benbrook, along with our community partners, hosts several events throughout the year.
The Business & Community Showcase is held in March. Dozens of local businesses and organizations gather to exhibit their products and services to hundreds of visitors. The event usually includes free food samples and door prizes as well. Exhibitors are charged a fee, but admission to the event is free.
In September, our annual Trash Bash brings together dozens of volunteers of all ages to help clean up Dutch Branch Park.
The Heritage Fest "Cowboy Roundup" takes place each October. The free-admission event brings several thousand visitors to Dutch Branch Park to celebrate our western heritage and enjoy a day of family-friendly fun.
In December, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Fireworks Show is held at Dutch Branch Park. After the show, we unveil our Winter Wonderland, a month-long light display capturing the spirit of the season.
Benbrook participates annually in National Night Out, typically scheduled in October. Community members are invited to meet our first-responders and check out the police vehicles, fire engines, ambulances, and equipment. Also, the American Cancer Society usually hosts the Relay for Life event in April, and in the spring, the Benbrook Police Officers Association usually holds an Easter Egg Hunt.
Check for upcoming events and meetings on the City Calendar. You can also keep posted on upcoming events by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Nextdoor, and by subscribing to receive City news flashes and alerts. You'll find lots of fun photos from many of the events on our Facebook page. For more information about specific events, please email info@benbrook-tx.gov.
