The City Secretary's Office is the designated public information coordinator and is primarily responsible for administering records pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code.
How to Obtain Information
Submit a written request (online, email, fax, mail or in person) that includes a detailed description about the information requested. The request should also include name, address, and a daytime telephone number of the requestor. You can submit your requests one of the following ways:

Records Management:
The City Secretary’s Office is responsible for coordinating and implementing the record policies of the City that relate to and include:
- All legal transactions, City Council and board and commission minutes, agendas, deeds, ordinances, resolutions, and contracts
- Retention and destruction
- Monitoring records storage
- Overseeing the control of electrically stored records
