As a Keep Texas Beautiful Affiliate, the City of Benbrook hosts volunteer projects to remove litter/debris from parks and roadways and to encourage recycling. The City also offers stand-alone electronic waste collection and document-shredding events throughout the year. Check the City Events Calendar for more information regarding these events.
My Benbrook Mile
My Benbrook Mile is the City of Benbrook's adopt-a-mile program. The program allows residents to adopt a mile of roadway or parkland to help keep the community litter-free and beautiful. Groups plan cleanup events as their adopted area dictates, and around the availability of group members.
The City of Benbrook encourages residents to consider volunteering for the My Benbrook Mile program. Once a location has been formally adopted, signage will be erected recognizing the group's participation in the program.
For more information and to receive an assigned area for cleanup, contact Amanda Valdez, Management Analyst, at 817-249-6008.
