How do I get a copy of a report?
Incident reports require a written request for a copy of the record.
The Benbrook Police Department accepts requests by mail, fax, email, online and in person.

Call 817-249-1610 to request contact with the reporting officer.

How late are you open?
The Benbrook Police Department is open 24 hours a day.

How can I check to see if I have a warrant?
The Court Clerk is available at 817-249-3000 for Municipal warrants and/or citation information.
The Benbrook Police dispatcher is available at 817-249-1610 to check for criminal warrants.

Do you require an alarm permit in your city?
Residential and business security systems must be permitted with the Benbrook Police Department.

Do I still need an alarm permit even if it’s not monitored?
Security systems need to be permitted if it is audible when activated and alerts the public, police or fire.

How do I get a copy of my criminal record?
Any person wanting to review their personal criminal history record information should visit: www.L1enrollment.com or call 1-888-467-2080. The Benbrook Police Department will provide a “local” record checks only.

What are your times for jail visitation?
Visitation hours are daily from 10 AM – 11 AM and 3 PM – 4 PM.
You must present picture ID to visit.

Can I get the number to your vehicle impound?
The Benbrook Police Departments uses 5 independent wrecker services. Please contact the dispatch office at 817-249-1610 for information on which company towed your vehicle and if any additional paperwork will be required to get the vehicle.
12.
Do you provide fingerprints for the public?
The Benbrook Police Department provides fingerprinting services to Benbrook Residents only on Tuesday s from 12 PM – 2 PM at a charge of $10 per person. You must provide your own cards.
