Do you have old paint, cooking oil, batteries, or automotive fluids taking up space around your home? You can dispose of these items at the Spring Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Event in Benbrook Saturday, May 24, 2025. The event will take place at the Dutch Branch Park Complex, off Winscott Rd., in the rear parking lot behind the Benbrook Lighted Par 3 & Range (follow signs), from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. (or until the collection trailer is full). 

Please bring proof of Benbrook residency (e.g., water bill or driver’s license). Staff will be on-site to direct traffic and assist in unloading items from vehicles. Please drive slowly as you enter the drop-off location. Typical household, garden, and automotive chemicals are accepted for proper disposal. For a complete list of acceptable items

PLEASE NOTE: This is the ONLY 2025 HHW event scheduled in Benbrook. The City of Fort Worth has the authority to cancel this event. Benbrook residents can take Hazardous Waste items directly to the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center, 6400 Bridge St., Fort Worth. For hours of operation, call 817-392-5257.
