The Parks and Recreation Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on parks and recreation policy matters. Duties include reviewing and providing advisory recommendations on park improvements; promoting and stimulating public interest in parks and recreation programs; and modifying and amending parks and recreation policies.

• Second Wednesday of the month, if needed
• 7:00 PM: Pre-meeting agenda work session
• 7:30 PM: Regular meeting

Appointment

The Board consists of seven (7) members who serve two-year terms. Places 1, 3, 5 and 7 are appointed in odd-numbered years and Places 2, 4 and 6 are appointed in even-numbered years.
