Rickie Allison is serving his eighth term as a councilmember for the City of Benbrook and was first elected in 2000. He and wife, Kathy, a retired school teacher from White Settlement ISD, have been married for over 40 years and have two sons, Ben and Daniel.

Mr. Allison retired from the Fort Worth Fire Department after 33 years as an engineer/paramedic/hazmat specialist and was the Assistant EMS Program Manager for the Fort Worth Fire Department for several years. Rickie also retired as a Lieutenant Firefighter/Paramedic from the Benbrook Fire Support Unit, serving for 20 years, and as a Patrol Officer and SWAT team member for the Benbrook Police Department for eight years. He is a retired member of the Texas Task Force Urban Search and Rescue team.

In 2008, Mr. Allison was appointed to the Texas Municipal League (TML) Board of Directors. Mr. Allison also served as a member of the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation and chairs the Regional Emergency Preparedness Planning Council with the North Central Texas Council of Governments.

Highly involved in his church, Rickie serves as a deacon and as a member of the Video Committee and Property Committee. He was a member and past president of the Benbrook Lions Club. He has also served as Boy Scouts Assistant Scout Master for Troop 95 in Benbrook.
